With the start of a new enduro season coming up many of you are sending in club memberships and licence applications to be stamped. Please remember that you MUST COMPLETE the SELF MEDICAL part of the adult licence form, regardless of whether you are submittiing a new medical or not. If you held a licence in 2010 or 2011 and weren't hospitalised for treatment following injury then you should not need a new doctors medical cert.
If you send all forms etc to me then I will sign and stamp your application and forward it to Motorcycling Ireland, otherwise I will post the form back to you but that will obviously take longer to get your licence.
2 separate cheques / postal orders must be included, do not combine club membership with the licence application form, I will be unable to process it.
Include your old licence also and 1 passport sized photo with your name on the back
Do not send anything by registered post, it may take me a couple of weeks to collect it.
Only current Torc club members will be eligible to score points for any of the Torc championships, so if you want to be considered for a Torc championship then you are well advised to join the club before the first enduro takes place.
As usual we will be taking club memberships and stamping licence applications at the AGM in February.
Volunteers are needed for the job of club quartermaster. Kevin Hayes has been doing this job for some time now and wishes to hand over to someone else - he will give any help needed to his successor to get him/her started! This person will need a parking space to store the small trailer and some space in a garage / gardenshed to store some bits & pieces.
Anyone interested please give Kevin a call for further information or reply to this mail if you don't have his number - the Torc club and all events are run entirely by volunteers who freely give their time so we can all enjoy this sport, if you are not doing anything to help why not do something now??
Rider grading for 2012 and event calendar are on the Torc website www.torcireland.ie
If any riders aren't included in the grading please let me know.
Any grading queries (other than omissions) must be raised at the AGM
